1. The torch game
Grab a torch and shine it on the floor with so it’s a concentrated round dot the size of a small ball.

My kitten eventually gave up and wanted to explore under the duvet to find it!

So find any old big box, make a few holes big enough for your kitten and some small enough for your hand or a sock.

Try and have interesting things in the box he or she can find.

Maybe it’s something to do with the shiny nature of the foil.
But tearing a little piece off and scrunching it into a ball.
About the size of a smartie will amuse your kitten throughout the day.
Especially if you have a hard surface floor. He or she will run around swatting the piece and chasing it under chairs or tables.
6. Fake Snake game
Ok, so you should know by now not to teach your kitten however tempting, to play with your hand/fingers.
It will be pretty difficult later on if you’ve taught it that hands and fingers are toys.
I used a couple of long socks over my arm, and recreate the movements of a snake ready to strike.
Your kitten will love this too and fro fighting and realize it is not your hand or fingers.
They even know that socks on feet are not the same thing.
Using the sock will prevent your kitten from going for your hand or fingers when you’re grooming or stroking it.
